Journal Issue Launch – Applied Philosophy in the Times of the COVID-19 Pandemics (RFA)
We would like to invite the authors and readers of the Review of Applied Philosophy (Revista de Filosofie Aplicată) to the official launch of the last published issue, dedicated to the topic Applied Philosophy in the Times of the COVID-19 Pandemics. The event will take place on July 13th, 6.00 p.m. (Romanian time / EET)
The issue gathers 20 original pieces, written by philosophers, researchers and students from Romania, Slovakia, Canada, UK, South Africa, and Germany. Several members of the Editorial Board and the Advisory Board will introduce the special issue and speak about the topics and ideas included, namely: Rachel Robinson-Greene (Utah State University, Logan, Utah), Cristian Iftode (Faculty of Philosophy, University of Bucharest), Emilian Mihailov (Faculty of Philosophy & the Research Center in Applied Ethics, University of Bucharest), Ștefan Maftei (Faculty of History and Philosophy, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj) and Iulia Grad (FSPAC, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj). The host of the event will be Mihaela Frunză, the journal editor.
The event will take place online, on Zoom platform. Participation is free and limited to 100 places.
